Legion Of Super-Pets
The Legion of Super-Pets is a fictional team of superhero pets in the DC Universe. The original membership included Krypto the Superdog, Streaky the Supercat, Beppo the Super-Monkey, and Comet the Super-Horse, with the shape-shifting alien Proty II later joining. The team first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #293 (February 1962), although all of the members except for Comet had appeared individually in earlier issues. The group was removed from mainstream DC Comics continuity in 1986 but a new version appeared in mainstream comics in 2017. The crossover series DC One Million in 1998 indicated that in the 853rd century a version of the team operates called the Justice Legion of Super-Zoomorphs. A follow-up story revealed that the universe of the 853rd century is protected by many teams representing the Legion of Super-Familiars, all of which are overseen by the Legion of Executive Familiars. Curt Swan
Douglas Curtis Swan (February 17, 1920 – June 17, 1996) was an American comics artist. The artist most associated with Superman during the period fans call the Bronze Age of Comic Books, Swan produced hundreds of covers and stories from the 1950s through the 1980s. Biography Early life and career Curt Swan, whose Swedes, Swedish grandmother had shortened and Americanized the original family name of Svensson, was born in Minneapolis, the youngest of five children. Father John Swan worked for the Rail transport, railroads; mother Leontine Jessie Hanson had worked in a local hospital. As a boy, Swan's given name – Douglas – was shortened to "Doug," and, disliking the phonetic similarity to "Dog," Swan thereafter reversed the order of his given names and went by "Curtis Douglas," rather than "Douglas Curtis." Wendy, Marvin And Wonder Dog
Wendy Harris, Marvin White and Wonder Dog are fictional characters from the 1973 American animated TV series ''Super Friends'', based on the famous superheroes published by DC Comics. The series featured a lineup of DC's most popular characters, including Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, but Hanna-Barbera, the show's producers, wanted to include young sidekick characters that the children in the audience could identify with. This led to the creation of Wendy, Marvin and their hero pet Wonder Dog, who appeared alongside their more famous friends. Because of the success of the ''Super Friends'' cartoon, a ''Super Friends'' comic book was also created, in which the trio made their first comics appearance. Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog did not have superpowers, so they often did not add much to the story progression, and they were dropped after the show's first season. Mister Mind
Mister Mind is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Otto Binder and C. C. Beck for Fawcett Comics, he made a cameo appearance in ''Captain Marvel Adventures'' #22 (March 1943) before making his full first appearance in ''Captain Marvel Adventures'' #26 (August 1943). One of Captain Marvel's greatest enemies, Mister Mind is a two-inch alien caterpillar of high intelligence with telepathic powers who usually carries out his villainous plans through an organization called the Monster Society of Evil. The Monster Society of Evil made its debut in ''Captain Marvel Adventures'' #22, and the resulting "Monster Society of Evil" story arc continued for two years in ''Captain Marvel Adventures'', ending with issue #46 (May 1945).
