Legendary Couple
''Legendary Couple'', also known as ''Story of a Robber'' (), is a 1995 Hong Kong action film directed by Peter Ngor and starring Simon Yam and Chingmy Yau. Plot Ko Tin-lap (Simon Yam) is an honest and dutiful accountant. One day, his superior, Lui Chan-sam (Wan Yeung-ming) gives him the duty to escort HK$5 million to the bank. Ko encounters robbers on his way and the entire sum of money is stolen. Lui and the police believe the theft was planned by Ko in order to take the money for himself. Because of this, Ko not only loses his job, but his entire savings which are claimed by Lui. Angry at his boss, Ko kidnaps Lui's daughter, Chi-lan (Chingmy Yau), and demands a ransom of HK$10 million. On the way to the ransom exchange, an accident happens and by chance, Ko saves Chi-lan. Raymond Wong Pak-ming
Raymond Wong Pak-ming (Chinese: 黃百鳴, born 8 April 1946; sometimes transliterated as Raymond Wong Bak-ming) is a Hong Kong film producer, playwright, director and actor. He is one of the most successful producers in Hong Kong cinema, having been one of the comedians to establish Cinema City Studios in 1980. Career Cinema City In 1980, Wong formed the renowned Cinema City Co., Ltd. with Karl Maka and Dean Shek. The production company became an industry phenomenon, producing films such as ''A Better Tomorrow'', ''Aces Go Places'', '' Prison on Fire'' and ''All About Ah-Long''. Simon Yam Tat-wah (; born 19 March 1955) is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. He received international acclaim for his performances in international film festival and box office hits such as ''Naked Killer'', '' SPL: Sha Po Lang'', ''Election'', ''Election 2'' , ''Exiled'', '' Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life'' and ''The Thieves''. Gregory Charles Rivers (; born 30 April 1965) is an Australian–Hong Kong actor. Biography Rivers hails from Gympie, Queensland, and attended medical school at University of New South Wales, where he was friends with students from Hong Kong who introduced him to Cantopop. After discontinuing his medical degree, he moved to Hong Kong. Two weeks after he landed, he ran into some band members of Alan Tam, whose driver he had been during a Sydney visit, and was invited to sing with him.
