Lee So-hee
Lee So-hee (Hangul: 이소희; ; born 14 June 1994) is a South Korean badminton player. She won the women's doubles title at the 2017 All England Open tournament. She also helped the Korean national team to win the world team championships at the 2017 Sudirman Cup. She reached a career high of world no. 2 in the women's doubles in November 2017 partnered with Chang Ye-na. For her achievements in 2017, Lee who affiliated with the Incheon International Airport team, was awarded as the best player of the year by the Badminton Korea Association. As a junior player, Lee was a gold medalists at the 2012 Asian, 2011 and 2012 World Junior Championships in the girls' doubles event. She represented Konkuk University and competed at the Summer Universiade, helped the Korean team clinching the gold medal in the team event in 2013 and 2015, and also won the gold in women's doubles with partner Shin Seung-chan in 2015. The 2022 Thomas & Uber Cup (officially known as the TotalEnergies BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2022 for sponsorship reasons) is the 32nd edition of the Thomas Cup and the 29th edition of the Uber Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the men and women's national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF). The tournament will be hosted at Bangkok, Thailand in the Impact Arena from 8 to 15 May 2022. This marks the third time Thailand will host the Thomas Cup, and second time for the Uber Cup. BWF World Junior Championships
The BWF World Junior Championships (also known as the World Junior Badminton Championships) is a tournament organized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) to crown the best junior badminton players (under-19) in the world. The championships is held annually and consists of two separate competitions: a mixed team championships (Suhandinata Cup) followed by an individual championships (Eye Level Cups). Editions The precursor of the championships was the Bimantara World Junior Invitational held in Indonesia from 1987 to 1991.
