Kim Dae-sung (badminton)
Kim Dae-sung (; born 5 April 1984) is a South Korean badminton player. Kim who was educated at the Miryang high school, won the silver medals at the 2002 Asian Junior Championships in the boys' doubles and team events. He also part of the national junior team that won the silver medal at the World Junior Championships, and clinched the bronze medal in the mixed doubles event. The Inha University alumni joined the Suwon city team in 2009, and became the captain of that team. Kim won the men's doubles title at the 2009 National Championships partnered with Yoo Yeon-seong. Nikhil Kanetkar (born 13 May 1979) is the only Olympic badminton player from Pune India. Born in a Maharashtrian family, Kanetkar played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's singles, defeating Sergio Llopis of Spain in the first round. In the round of 16, Kanetkar was defeated by Peter Gade of Denmark. The Korea Masters is an international badminton tournament that usually held in November or December every year of BWF event calendar in South Korea. The total prize money in 2016 was US$120,000. Before 2010, the level of the tournament was an International Challenge, which is the fourth level tournament of international badminton tournament. It began in 2007, when it was held in Suwon, then it moved to Yeosu in 2008 and Hwasun in 2009. In 2010, it was turned into a BWF Grand Prix event. Son Wan-ho (Hangul: 손완호; or ; born 17 May 1988) is a South Korean badminton player. He reached a career high as world number 1 in the men's singles in May 2017. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He plays primarily defensively, and began playing badminton after a teacher suggested it to him in elementary school.
