Lee-Lou Demierre
Lee-Lou Demierre (born 21 June 2001) is a Dutch breakdancer who performs under the name B-Boy Lee. Early life Lee was born and grew up in Amsterdam. His mother was a b-girl, which led to his interest in breakdancing. He began dancing at two years old. Breakdancing, also called breaking or b-boying/b-girling, is an athletic style of street dance originating from the African American and Puerto Rican communities in the United States. While diverse in the amount of variation available in the dance, breakdancing mainly consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes. Breakdancing is typically set to songs containing drum breaks, especially in hip-hop, funk, soul music and breakbeat music, although modern trends allow for much wider varieties of music along certain ranges of tempo and beat patterns. Red Bull BC One
Red Bull BC One is an annual international B-Boy competition organized by the beverage company Red Bull. It is an individual B-Boy competition, notable for being the only one of the major international breaking championships to not include a crew event. The main event is a knockout tournament featuring sixteen B-Boys and B-Girls, chosen for exceptional skills in the dance and good character, competing in one-on-one battles decided by a panel of five judges. Regional finals are held for North America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East and Africa. Philip Kim (breakdancer)
Philip Kim , also known as Phil Wizard is a Canadian breakdancer. Kim was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Early life Kim was born to Korean parents in Toronto, Canada, and now lives on the West Coast in Vancouver, British Columbia. His love of breaking began in 2009, when he saw the Now or Never (N.O.N.) crew performing street shows in downtown Vancouver. He briefly attended University to study Psychology before dropping out to pursue breaking full time. Career Kim won the gold medal at the 2022 WDSF World Breaking Championships in Seoul, South Korea, beating out more than 250 competitors for his world title. In 2023, Kim won gold at the WDSF Pan American Breaking Championship in Santiago, Chile followed by silver at the 2023 WDSF World Breaking Championship.
