Lebohang Maboe
Lebohang Kgosana Maboe (born 17 September 1994) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward for South African Premier Division club Mamelodi Sundowns and the South African national team. He is the son of former Moroka Swallows and Orlando Pirates player Sidwell Maboe. Club career Early career The son of former professional footballer, Sidwell, Maboe began playing football in his home town of Heidelberg where he played with amateur side Ratanda Real Hearts. During his time with Hearts, he was promoted to the club's under-17 side at the age of 14 where his performances at age-group level earned him the opportunity to later join the Kaizer Chiefs academy. Heidelberg, Gauteng
Heidelberg is a town with 35,500 inhabitants in the Gauteng province of South Africa at the foot of the Suikerbosrand next to the N3 highway, which connects Johannesburg and Durban. History Heidelberg began in 1862 as a trading station built by a German, Heinrich Julius Ueckermann. A town was laid out around the store and named after Ueckermann's alma mater. Pitso John Hamilton Mosimane (born 26 July 1964) is a South African professional football manager and a former player. He is the current manager of Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli Jeddah. He is considered as one of the greatest coaches in Africa and he is the most successful black football coach in the world. He is the former coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United, and Al Ahly. Telkom Knockout
The Telkom Knockout was a South African professional football knockout competition which comprised the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. The competition was established in 1982 and was first known as the Datsun Challenge. Under the new NSL regime in 1984, it became known as the ''JPS Knockout Cup''. It used this name until 1992 when it became known as the ''Coca-Cola Cup''. It was sponsored by the drinks manufacturer until 1996, when it was replaced by the ''Rothmans Cup'' which was changed back to the ''Coca-Cola Cup'' in 2001 due to the new rules regarding tobacco sponsorship in sport.
