Lebanese people in Spain ( es, Libaneses en España) are people from Lebanon or those of Lebanese descent, who live in the country of Spain. Most of the Lebanese people in Spain are expatriates from Lebanon but also there is a sizable group of people with Lebanese descent from Latin American countries with sizable Lebanese diasporas like Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay and Brazil. Roberto Merhi
Roberto Merhi Muntan (born 22 March 1991), is a Spanish racing driver who drove in Formula One for the Manor Marussia F1 Team during the 2015 season. Merhi has also raced in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series for Pons Racing, and won the Formula 3 Euro Series championship, while driving for Prema Powerteam. José María Benegas
José María "Txiki" Benegas Haddad (25 July 1948 – 25 August 2015) was a Spanish politician for the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). His nickname "Txiki" is Basque for "small". Early life Benegas was born in Caracas, Venezleua. His father, José María Benegas Echeverría, was an exiled Basque Nationalist politician, who fled Spain in 1939 following the victory of Francisco Franco in the Spanish Civil War. While his mother, Doris Haddad, was a Lebanese Jew who immigrated from Lebanon to Venezuela. Noel Jammal
Noel Jammal Fernández, better known as Noel Jammal (in Arabic language, Arabic نويل جمّال, born 3 March 1990 in Madrid) is a Lebanon, Lebanese-Spain, Spanish Formula 3 driver who is in :es:Cedars Motorsport, Cedars Motorsport group founded by his father Youssef Jammal and he regularly represents in international competition. Noel Jammal was a karting enthusiast at an early age. On his 18th birthday, he asked his parents to give him a test drive on a racing car as a gift. He did very well, after which his family financed his endeavour in professional car racing. Yamila Díaz-Rahi (born March 9, 1976), also Yamila Diaz, is an Argentine model. Miguel Casiri
Miguel Casiri ( ar, الاب مخايل الغزيري; Mikhael Ghaziri) (1710–1791) was a learned Maronite and Orientalist. He was born in Tripoli, Lebanon (formerly in Ottoman Syria). He studied at Rome, where he lectured on Arabic, Syriac, Aramaic, philosophy and theology. In 1748 he went to Spain and was employed in the royal library at Madrid. He was successively appointed a member of the Royal Academy of History, interpreter of oriental languages to the king, and joint-librarian at the Escorial. In 1763 he became principal librarian, a post which he appears to have held till his death in 1791. The arrival of immigrants of Lebanese origin to Paraguay consisted of many people who have settled in this country, bringing their customs and way of life. There are about 53,000 to 75,000 Lebanese Uruguayans, or Uruguayans of Lebanese origin. The Lebanese are one of the larger non-European communities, though still not as large a group as most European groups. Relations between Uruguay and Lebanon have always been close. Lebanese Venezuelans
A Lebanese Venezuelan is a Venezuelan citizen of Lebanese origin or descent. There is around 340,000 to 500,000 people of Lebanese ancestry.
