Leandro Barcia Montero (born 8 October 1992 in Florida, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan footballer who currently plays for Uruguayan Primera División club Defensor Sporting. He previously played for Brazilian clubs Goiás, Sport Recife, Atlético Goianiense and Ponte Preta, in addition to Uruguayan Primera División club Nacional. Career Nacional Rentistas Goiás (loan) On 15 January 2019 Goiás signed Barcia on a one-year deal. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. The tournament is named after the ''Libertadores'' (Spanish and Portuguese for ''liberators''), the leaders of the Latin American wars of independence, so a literal translation of its former name into English is "''America's Liberators Cup''". The competition has had several formats over its lifetime. Initially, only the champions of the South American leagues participated. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B is commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2022 was officially called Brasileirão Sportingbet by sponsorship reasons. It is the second tier of the Brazilian football league system. Although not having been played annually since its founding in 1971, the competition format has changed almost every season. The 2022 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (officially the Brasileirão SportingBet - Série B 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition began on 8 April and ended on 6 November. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2021 season, four promoted from the 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C (Criciúma, Ituano, Novorizontino and Tombense), and four relegated from the 2021 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Bahia, Chapecoense, Grêmio and Sport). The Copa Verde ( en, Green Cup) is an annual regional knockout football competition in Brazil that started in 2014, and played by 24 teams from the North and Central-West regions, plus Espírito Santo (Espírito Santo state was included because they competed in the old Copa Centro Oeste). Initially, the champion of the tournament gained a place in the next year's Copa Sudamericana. With the changes implemented by CONMEBOL in 2016 causes a competition no longer qualify in Copa Sudamericana from edition.
