Le-Van Kiet
Le-Van Kiet is a Vietnamese filmmaker, known for directing ''Furie (film), Furie'' and ''The Princess (2022 action film), The Princess''. Kiet was born on the outskirts of Bien Hoa near Ho Chi Minh City in 1978. He moved to the US when he was 2. He attended UCLA for film studies when he was 20 and graduated from the School of Film and Television. He went to Vietnam to begin his film career. His film was the 2012 psychological horror film ''House in the Alley''. His films ''Bay Cap 3'' and ''The Lost Tour: Vietnam'' were refused release. ''Furie'', released in 2019, stars Veronica Ngo and was released in the US by WellGo USA. His 2022 film ''The Princess'' stars Joey King and Dominic Cooper, and was released on Hulu. References

''Furie'' ( vi, Hai Phượng) is a 2019 Vietnamese martial arts film directed by Le-Van Kiet. It stars Ngô Thanh Vân, Veronica Ngo, Cát Vy, Phan Thanh Nhiên, Phạm Anh Khoa and Trần Thanh Hoa. ''Furie'' was released on 22 February 2019 in Vietnam and was released on 1 March 2019 in the United States, where it received positive reviews from critics with praise for the action sequences and Ngo's performance. It was selected as the Vietnamese entry for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated. ''The Princess'' is a 2022 American period action thriller film directed by Le-Van Kiet. The film stars Joey King, Dominic Cooper, Olga Kurylenko, and Veronica Ngo. Plot The film is set in a medieval realm ruled by a King and his Queen, who have two daughters, the titular Princess and her younger sister Violet.
