Daniel Lavoie (; born Joseph-Hubert-Gérald Lavoie on March 17, 1949) is a Canadian singer–songwriter, actor, producer, poet, and radio host, known for his song " Ils s'aiment" and the role of Frollo in musical ''Notre-Dame de Paris''. He releases albums and performs on stage in Canada and France and tours in Canada and Europe. Early life Daniel Lavoie was born in Dunrea, Manitoba on March 17, 1949. François Lavoie (born February 27, 1993) is a right-handed Canadian ten-pin bowler from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, now making his home in Wichita, Kansas. He is a member of the Professional Bowlers Association, and has been a member of Team Canada. Lavoie has won five PBA Tour titles, including three major championships. He is one of only three players in history to roll a perfect 300 game in two televised PBA Tour title events, and the only player to bowl a 300 game in a U.S. Open telecast. Donald Lavoie
Donald Lavoie (born 21 May 1942) is a self-proclaimed former hit man for the Dubois Gang, situated in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. During his career as a hit man, Lavoie assassinated at least 15 people, to which he later confessed. Lavoie's testimony was used by the Montreal Police Force to convict members of the Dubois Gang. Alexandre Lavoie (born November 17, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with Mora IK of the HockeyAllsvenskan (Allsv). Playing career Lavoie started playing in Chicoutimi Saguenéens in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) from 2008 to 2011 followed by a season in the same league's Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and one more season in the league's Rimouski Oceanic. Patrick Lavoie (born October 19, 1987) is a Canadian football fullback who is a free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Kathleen Hoey Lavoie (September 28, 1949 – May 23, 2022) was an American microbiologist and explorer who was Professor of Biological Sciences at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Donald Charles Lavoie (April 4, 1951 – November 6, 2001) was an American economist of the Austrian School. He was influenced by Friedrich Hayek, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Michael Polanyi and Ludwig Lachmann. He wrote two books on the problem of economic calculation. Lieutenant-General Omer Lavoie, CMM, MSC, CD was a senior officer in the Canadian Army and the Canadian Armed Forces. He was the commander of the 4th Canadian Division until the summer of 2014. Jean-Noël Lavoie (November 24, 1927 – March 17, 2013) was a notary and former political figure in Quebec. He represented Laval in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec and then the National Assembly of Quebec from 1960 to 1981 as a Liberal.
