Maundy (from Old French ''mandé'', from Latin ''mandatum'' meaning "command"), or Washing of the Saints' Feet, Washing of the Feet, or Pedelavium or Pedilavium, is a religious rite observed by various Christian denominations. The Latin word ''mandatum'' is the first word sung at the ceremony of the washing of the feet, "''Mandatum novum do vobis ut diligatis invicem sicut dilexi vos''", from the text of John 13:34 in the Vulgate ("I give you a new commandment, That ye love one another as I have loved you", ). Lavanda, Crimea
Lavanda ( uk, Лаванда; russian: Лаванда) is a rural settlement (Ukraine) in the Alushta Municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and annexed by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. The word literally means "lavender." Lavanda is located on Crimea's southern shore at an elevation of . It is administratively subordinate to the Luchyste Village Council. Its population was 177 in the 2001 Ukrainian census The Ukrainian Census of 2001 is to date the only census of the population of independent Ukraine. It was conducted by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine on 5 December 2001, twelve years after the last Soviet Union census in 1989.

The Internal Troops of Ukraine ( uk, Внутрішні війська України, - Interior Forces of Ukraine; Russian: Внутренние войска Украины, ''Vnutrenniye Voyska Ukrainy''), abbreviated ВВ 'VV') were a uniformed gendarmerie and Internal Troops in Ukraine which merged with the National Guard of Ukraine on March 13, 2014.
