Laval Arctic
The Montreal-North Arctic were a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Saint-Leonard, Quebec, Canada and were part of the Quebec Junior Hockey League. History The franchise entered the QJAAAHL in 2002 as the Gladiateur de St. Eustache In the Summer of 2008, the team moved to become the Sainte-Thérèse Nordiques. In the Summer of 2009, the team was moved again to Laval, Quebec. The official name was Rousseau-Sports Junior AAA Laval. In the 2008–09 season Eliezer Sherbatov led the team and was third in the league in scoring. In the playoffs, he helped the team win the championship while leading the playoffs with 15 goals in 18 games. In 2010, the name was changed again to the Laval Arctic. One season later they became the St-Leonard Arctic. After the start of the 2017 season the club re-branded once more, this time becoming the Montreal-North Arctic. Saint-Leonard ( ; french: Saint-Léonard ) is a borough (''arrondissement'') of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Formerly a separate city, it was amalgamated into the city of Montreal in 2002. Eliezer Sherbatov
Eliezer "Elie" Alexeevich Sherbatov ( he, אליעזר שרבטוב; born 9 October 1991) is an Israeli-Canadian ice hockey player who plays for the Jonquière Marquis of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey, after having played for HC Mariupol of the Ukrainian Hockey League until the Russian invasion in February of 2022. In the 2020-2021 season he played for TH Unia Oświęcim of the Polska Hokej Liga. He is the first Israeli to have played in the Russian Kontinental Hockey League, for HC Slovan Bratislava. The Montreal-Est Rangers are a Junior ice hockey team from Montréal-Est, Quebec, Canada. They are a part of the Quebec Junior Hockey League. History 2004-05 season In 2004, the Joliette Action were formed after another team's rights were sold to the city. Prior to the 2004-05 season, the Action were known as Les Éperviers de Contrecoeur. It is not known what year the Éperviers were founded. Their first year in Joliette went well. The Ligue de Hockey Junior du Québec (LHJQ) or Quebec Junior Hockey League (QJHL) is a Hockey Québec Canadian Junior A ice hockey league and is a member of Hockey Canada and the Canadian Junior Hockey League.
