Laurențiu Streza
Laurențiu Streza (; born Liviu Streza; October 12, 1947) is a Romanian cleric, a metropolitan bishop in the Romanian Orthodox Church. Born in Sâmbăta de Sus, Brașov County, he attended grade school in his native village from 1954 to 1961. His father died when he was 13. He attended Radu Negru High School in Făgăraș (1961–1965) followed by theological seminary in Sibiu (1965–1969). He obtained a Theology doctorate in 1985 from the Bucharest seminary. Streza married Eugenia Stanciu in 1969 before being ordained a priest that December. The couple had five children; Eugenia died in 1992. In the summer of 1996, he was elected bishop in the Diocese of Caransebeș, tonsured a monk and given his present first name, and installed as bishop. In 2005, he was made Metropolitan of Transylvania, with his seat at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Sibiu. Laurențiu Aurelian Reghecampf (born 19 September 1975) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is currently in charge of Azerbaijan Premier League side Neftchi Baku. Playing career Club Reghecampf was born in Târgoviște and began his career in his native city with Chindia. In the 1993–94 season, at the age of 18, Reghecampf was loaned to Austrian Bundesliga side SKN St. Pölten. He later joined Steaua București where he won the league title twice. One year later, Reghecampf was loaned to Bulgarian side Litex Lovech, with whom he won the 1999 A PFG title. In 2000, he was bought by German Bundesliga team Energie Cottbus. Laurențiu Rebega (born 20 February 1976) is a Romanian politician and since 2014, a member of the European Parliament (MEP). In the European Parliament, Laurentiu Rebega is a full member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (COMAGRI) and the Committee on Petitions (PETI) and a substitute in the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and Committee on Regional Development (REGI). Laurențiu Constantin (born 12 July 1963 in Constanța) is a former Romanian rugby union player. He played as lock. Career Grown in the RCJ Farul Constanța youth team, along with his younger brother Ștefan he formed a lock combination that was the backbone of the club and of the Romania national team throughout the decade, winning the national title with Farul in 1986. He was also part of the Steaua squad, with which he won 5 national championship titles in 1982, 1983, 1984, 1986 and 1987. Lavinium
Lavinium was a port city of Latium, to the south of Rome, midway between the Tiber river at Ostia and Antium. The coastline then, as now, was a long strip of beach. Lavinium was on a hill at the southernmost edge of the ''Silva Laurentina'', a dense laurel forest, and the northernmost edge of the Pontine Marshes, a vast malarial tract of wetlands. The basis for the port, the only one between Ostia and Antium, was evidently the mouth of the Numicus river. The location of Lavinium has never been lost to historians nor does there appear to have been any significant break in its habitation. Today's settlement remains a walled village of medieval design, Pratica di Mare, in the ''comune'' of Pomezia. Laurentum
Laurentum was an ancient Roman city of Latium situated between Ostia and Lavinium, on the west coast of the Italian Peninsula southwest of Rome. Roman writers regarded it as the original capital of Italy, before Lavinium assumed that role after the death of King Latinus. In historical times, Laurentum was united with Lavinium, and the name Lauro-Lavinium is sometimes used to refer to both.
