Lauren Molina
Lauren Molina (born April 15, 1981) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and musician. She is a co-creator and performer with the comedy-pop, undie-rock band The Skivvies. Her Broadway credits include Johanna in the actor-musician revival of ''Sweeney Todd''. To describe her as an actress, one reviewer said "She's part Mary Martin, Lucille Ball, Kristen Wiig and ill in the blank with your favorite opera star because Molina has one of the most powerful and flexible voices in the annals of Broadway" While performing on the first national tour of Sweeney Todd, she received the Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Award for Best Supporting Actress. The Skivvies are Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina, American singer/musician/actors, who perform "stripped down" arrangements of popular songs, and original tunes while stripping down to their underwear. They have had residencies at several venues including 54 Below, 42 West, Highline Ballroom and Joe's Pub. Stephen Sondheim
Stephen Joshua Sondheim (; March 22, 1930November 26, 2021) was an American composer and lyricist. Sony Music Masterworks (Sony Masterworks) is a record label, the result of a restructuring of Sony Music's classical music division. Before the acquisition of Bertelsmann's shares in the former Sony BMG, the label was known as Sony BMG Masterworks. New World Stages is a five-theater, Off-Broadway performing arts complex in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It is between 49th and 50th Streets beneath the plaza of the Worldwide Plaza complex at Eighth Avenue. History Constructed on the site of the third Madison Square Garden, New World Stages was originally built as a Loews Cineplex Entertainment multiplex cinema at Worldwide Plaza. The Worldwide Cinemas multiplex opened in June 1989 and was originally operated by the Cineplex Odeon Corporation.
