Toyah Ann Willcox (born 18 May 1958) is an English musician, actress, and TV presenter. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Willcox has had eight top 40 singles, released over 20 albums, written two books, appeared in over 40 stage plays and 10 feature films, and voiced and presented numerous television shows. Between 1977 and 1983, she fronted the band Toyah, before embarking on a solo career in the mid-1980s. Background The album title (a reference to King Crimson's debut album, ''In the Court of the Crimson King'') was suggested by producer/co-author Simon Darlow and was endorsed by King Crimson mainstay and Toyah's husband Robert Fripp. It was Toyah's first full-length album of new material since 1994's ''Dreamchild''. Originally released in September 2008, it did not chart, but was reviewed as the "CD of the Year" in the American ''Good Times'' magazine.
