Latario Collie-Minns
Latario Collie-Minns (born March 10, 1994) is a Bahamian triple jumper. He won the gold medal at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Lille, France, and eventually represented his nation Bahamas at the 2016 Summer Olympics, scratching all three of his jumps in the preliminary round. In his college career, Collie-Minns established history as the fifth Bahamian to capture the NCAA men's triple jump title for the Texas A&M Aggies. Collie-Minns competed for the Bahamas in the men's triple jump at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking. The 2012 World Junior Championships in Athletics was an international athletics competition for athletes qualifying as juniors (born 1993 or later) which was held at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, on 10–15 July 2012. Miramar, Florida
Miramar is a city in southern Broward County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 134,721. It is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which is home to approximately six million people. History Miramar was founded by A.L. Mailman to serve as a "bedroom community" for nearby Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Mailman bought the original property he was to develop from H.D. Perry, Sr. in 1953. The 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics was an international athletics competition for athletes under the age of 20 which was held at the Moncton Stadium in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada from 19 to 25 July 2010.
