"Last of the Time Lords" is the thirteenth and final episode of the third series of the revived British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It was broadcast on BBC One on 30 June 2007. It is the last of three episodes that form a linked narrative, following "Utopia" and "The Sound of Drums". The episode is set on Earth one year after the events of "The Sound of Drums". In the episode, the alien time traveller the Master (John Simm) has conquered the Earth and enslaved its population to prepare warships for him to conquer the rest of the universe. The medical student Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) has spent the previous year travelling the planet as part of a plan to stop the Master. "Voyage of the Damned" is an episode of the British science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who''. First broadcast on BBC One on 25 December 2007, it is the third List of Doctor Who Christmas specials, ''Doctor Who'' Christmas special since the show's revival in 2005. "Time Crash" is a mini-episode of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It was broadcast on 16 November 2007, as part of the BBC One telethon for the children's charity Children in Need. Written by Steven Moffat, it starred David Tennant and brought back Peter Davison as the Doctor. The episode, set during the last scene of the previous episode "Last of the Time Lords", depicts a humorous encounter between the Doctor's fifth and tenth incarnations, played by Davison and Tennant respectively. "The Sound of Drums" is the twelfth episode of the third series of the revived British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It was broadcast on BBC One on 23 June 2007. Murray Jonathan Gold (born 28 February 1969) is an English composer for stage, film, and television and a dramatist for both theatre and radio. He is best known as the musical director and composer of the music for ''Doctor Who'' from 2005, until he stepped down in 2018 after the tenth series aired in 2017. Simon Winstone is a British author, screenwriter and script editor, best known for his work on ''Doctor Who'' and on the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''.
