Larissa Martins de Oliveira (born 16 February 1993) is a Brazilian freestyle swimmer. International career 2012–16 At the 2012 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) in Istanbul, she finished 6th in the 4×100-metre freestyle final, 10th in the 4×100-metre medley, 12th in the 100-metre freestyle semifinal, and 38th in the 200-metre freestyle. Oliveira broke the South American record in the 4×100-metre medley, with a time of 3:57.66, along with Fabíola Molina, Daynara de Paula and Beatriz Travalon. She classified to swim at three proofs in the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona. In the 4×100-metre freestyle, she broke the South American record, with a time of 3:41.05, along with Daynara de Paula, Graciele Herrmann and Alessandra Marchioro. Swimming At The 2013 World Aquatics Championships
The swimming events of the 15th FINA World Aquatics Championships were held July 28 – August 4, 2013, in Barcelona, Spain. The competition was held in a long course pool inside the Palau Sant Jordi. It featured 40 LCM events, split evenly between males and females. Swimming was one of the five aquatic disciplines at the championships. The United States won the overall medal count, led by Missy Franklin who claimed a record-setting six gold medals. China's Sun Yang won three gold medals en route to "male swimmer of the meet". 2012 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 M)
The 11th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) was held in Istanbul, Turkey on 12–16 December 2012. This swimming-only championships took place in the Sinan Erdem Dome; all events were swum in a 25-meter ( short-course) pool. The United States topped the medal standings with a total of 27 medals and had the most gold medals with 11. A total of 18 championship records were set and 2 world records (both set by American Ryan Lochte) broken. Lochte and Hungarian Katinka Hosszú were named the best male and female swimmers of the competition. Lochte finished the meet with 8 total medals (breaking his previous record of 7 set in 2010) and Hosszú had 5 total medals.
