Lansana Mansaray
Lansana Mansaray (born 1988), often known as Barmmy Boy, is a Sierra Leonean filmmaker. One of the most popular filmmakers in Sierra Leone cinema, Mansaray is best known for the critically acclaimed films ''Youth'', ''Charity'' and ''Survivors''. Apart from filmmaking, he is also a film producer, cinematographer and rapper. Personal life He was born in 1992 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Career Mansaray is the founder and production manager of WeOwnTV at the Freetown Media Center. An Ebola virus epidemic in Sierra Leone occurred in 2014, along with the neighbouring countries of Guinea and Liberia. On 18 March 2014, Guinean health officials announced the outbreak of a mysterious hemorrhagic fever "which strikes like lightning". It was identified as Ebola virus disease and spread to Sierra Leone by May 2014. The disease was thought to have originated when a child from a bat-hunting family contracted the disease in Guinea in December 2013.
