Langå Railway Station
Langå railway station is a railway station serving the town of Langå in East Jutland metropolitan area, East Jutland, Denmark. The station is located on the Aarhus-Randers Line from Aarhus to Randers and is the terminal train station, terminus of the Langå-Struer Line from Langå to Struer, Denmark, Struer. It offers direct InterCity services to Copenhagen and Aalborg as well as regional train services to Aarhus and Struer. The train services are operated by DSB (railway company), DSB and GoCollective. History Langå station was opened in 1862 with the opening of the Aarhus-Randers Line, Aarhus-Randers railway line from Aarhus to Randers. In 1863, Langå station also became the eastern terminal train station, terminus of the Langå-Struer Line, Langå-Struer railway line. The history of rail transport in Denmark began in 1847 with the opening of a railway line between Copenhagen and Roskilde. The Kiel- Altona line in Holstein was completed three years earlier, but the region was later lost to the German Confederation in the Second War of Schleswig.
