Langley Centre
Langley Centre is an on-street bus exchange located in downtown Langley City, British Columbia, Canada. As part of the TransLink system, it serves the municipalities of Langley City and Langley Township with routes to Surrey, Maple Ridge, and White Rock, that provide connections to SkyTrain and the West Coast Express rail services for travel towards Vancouver. Structure and location The exchange opened on October 31, 1975, and is located on the curb lanes at the intersection of Glover Road and Logan Avenue in Langley City. It is not separated from regular traffic and can accommodate regular-length diesel buses and smaller community shuttles. Beside the exchange is the Rainbow Mall, a small shopping complex. It is less than a kilometre from the main commercial centre of Langley City on Fraser Highway, and a few kilometres from Langley's largest shopping mall, Willowbrook Shopping Centre. King George is an elevated station on the Expo Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located in the south end of the Surrey City Centre district of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and is one of the outbound termini of the Expo Line, the other being Production Way–University station. Fern Ridge is a neighbourhood of Langley, British Columbia. It is located in the southwestern area of Langley Township, near Campbell Valley Regional Park. 200th Street, or Carvolth Road, runs south through Fern Ridge, and TransLink provides hourly bus service during daylight hours to Langley City. Brookswood is a community (pop. approx. 13,200) in the Township of Langley, British Columbia, Canada, located on the west side of that municipality to the south of the Nicomekl River. Murrayville, Langley
Murrayville is a small community in the Township of Langley in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada. History In 1870, Paul Murray settled in this location and together with his sons owned a quarter section of land on each of the four corners of Yale Road and what now is 216th Street. This area became known as "Murrays corner" after Alexander Murray, who drowned in the Fraser River in January 1884 while attempting in vain to save a friend. Originally Murray was buried at the Fort Langley Cemetery but when the Odd Fellows Cemetery opened his family exhumed his body and relocated it so that he would be closer to home. In 1925, the post office named it "Murrayville". The area between 216 street, 216a street, 48th ave and 48A avenue is one of the oldest subdivisions in Langley. Aldergrove is a community in the Township of Langley within British Columbia, Canada, approximately east of Vancouver. White Rock Centre is an on-street bus exchange located on the border between White Rock and Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. It is the southernmost transit hub in the Metro Vancouver region and the nearest to the Canada–United States border. Scottsdale Exchange is a bus loop located in the Strawberry Hill neighbourhood of Newton in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. As part of the TransLink system, it serves the western Newton and North Delta areas with routes to Richmond, Ladner, New Westminster, Surrey City Centre, and Langley City that provide connections to several SkyTrain stations for travel towards Vancouver.
