Lance Laing
Lance Lorenzo Laing (born 28 February 1988) is a Jamaican retired footballer. Career Professional Laing began his career in his native Jamaica, playing for Harbour View and Village United in the top flight Jamaica National Premier League. He was part of the Harbour View team which won JNPL titles in 2007 and 2010, and played in the 2007 CFU Club Championship, the 2008 CONCACAF Champions' Cup and the 2008-09 CONCACAF Champions League. Laing moved to the United States in 2011 when he signed with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League. He made his debut for the Strikers on 29 April, in a 2–2 tie with the Puerto Rico Islanders. He scored his first goal with the club against Montreal Impact on 13 July 2011. Following an impressive debut season with the Strikers, Laing was named to the NASL Best XI for the 2011 season. Trelawny Parish
Trelawny (Jamaican Patois: ''Trilaani'' or ''Chrilaani'') is a parish in the county of Cornwall in northwest Jamaica. Its capital is Falmouth. It is bordered by the parishes of Saint Ann in the east, Saint James in the west, and Saint Elizabeth and Manchester in the south. Trelawny is known for producing several Olympic sprinters. The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 13th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 23rd CONCACAF regional championship overall in the organization's fifty-four years of existence. It was held in the United States, with two matches being played in Canada, marking the first time the CONCACAF Gold Cup was played in that country. Mexico won the competition after surviving both the quarter-finals and semi-finals in controversial circumstances, defeating Jamaica – the first Caribbean nation to reach such a stage – in the final. The Montreal Impact (french: Impact de Montréal) was a Canadian professional association football, soccer club based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1993, the team played in the United Soccer League. Later, the Impact played in the North American Soccer League (2011), North American Soccer League (NASL), the second tier of the American Soccer Pyramid until the 2011 season.
