Lana Harch (born 23 November 1984 in Hampton, Queensland, Australia) is a former Australia women's national soccer team international who plays for Queensland Lions FC. Harch was adjudged player of the match in the 2008–09 W-League Grand Final and was the W-League Player of the Year. In November 2013, Harch retired from football. Harch graduated from the University of Southern Queensland and currently works as a teacher at the Westside Christian College in Goodna, Ipswich. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. Brisbane Roar Women Football Club, formerly known Queensland Roar Women, is an Australian professional women's football club based in Brisbane, Queensland (founded in 2008). The 2008–09 W-League was the first season of the W-League, the top Australian professional women's soccer league, since its establishment in 2008. Julie Dolan Medal
The Julie Dolan Medal is awarded annually to the player voted to be the best player in the highest women's soccer league in Australia. The medal has been presented for players in the W-League and previously the Women's National Soccer League (WNSL). The medal is named after former Matilda's Captain and football administrator Julie Dolan. The format was changed for the 2015–16 season, with a panel featuring former players, media, referees and technical staff, who voted on each regular-season match.
