Lalitpur City FC is a Nepali professional franchise football club based in Lalitpur, Bagmati Province, that competes in the Nepal Super League, the top flight football league in Nepal. History The club was formed in March 2021 after the establishment of Nepal Super League, the first ever franchise football league in Nepal, under the supervision of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). Chyasal Stadium
Chyasal Stadium (previously known as Chyasal ANFA Technical Football Center) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Chyasal neighborhood of Lalitpur in Bagmati Province of Nepal. It is mainly used for football matches and has a grass playing surface. History The stadium was built in 2002 with the support of FIFA's football development project in South Asia. In 2017, the National Sports Council decided to upgrade the training grounds into a functional football stadium with constructions finished in 2021. Overview The Biimaal or Bimal, is a sub-clan of the major Dir clan family. This clan is widely known for leading a resistance against the colonials in southern Somalia for decades which can be compared to the war of the Sayyid in Somaliland.
