Lal Sobujer Sur
''Lal Sobujer Sur'' is a 2016 Bangladeshi film directed by Mushfikur Rahman Guljar and starring Subrata Barua, Jhuna Chowdhury, Rafiqullah Selim, Shera Zaman and Omar Sani. The screenplay by Faridur Reza Sagar is based on his novel of the same name. Sagar also produced the film. The film is set in 1971 during the Bangladesh liberation war. Faridur Reza Sagar
Faridur Reza Sagar (born 22 February 1955) is a Bangladeshi writer and film producer. He is also the managing director of Impress Telefilm Ltd and Channel i. He was awarded the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2005 and Ekushey Padak in 2015 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Sagar was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to writer Rabeya Khatun and director Fazlul Haque. Sagar played the leading role in East Pakistan's first children's cinema made by his father. Since his childhood he has been involved with many children-friendly TV shows on Bangladesh Television. Shahrukh Fardin Subrata is a Bangladeshi film actor. He is better known as Subrata in the film industry. He has appeared in over 140 films. Career Subrata made his debut in 1985 with the film "Rai Binodini", directed by Mohammed Hannan. Later he established a strong position in Bangladeshi films industry through "Mala Bodol" and "Maiyar Nam Moina" which is directed by same director.
