''Lal Salam'' ( " Red salute") is a salute, greeting, or code word used by communists in South Asia. The word ''lal'' means "red" in Hindustani; '' salam'' means "peace" in Arabic. Hindustani Language

Muraleedharan Pillai, popularly known as Murali ( ml, മുരളി, 25 May 1954 – 6 August 2009) was an Indian film, stage and television actor and author.
