''Laku noć, Hrvatska'' (''Good night, Croatia'') is a Croatian adult animated series produced by Croatia Film of Zagreb. It debuted in February 2005 on Nova TV and was shown on the station daily until the end of the year. In 2006, it showed up on Jabuka TV. The entire series is also available on 4 DVDs. ''Laku noć, Hrvatska'' is a parody of Croatian TV news and other TV shows. Every episode has three basic parts: news, sport and weather. It satirically makes fun of Croatian and other world politicians. It also features animated commercials during the course of an episode. There were 252 episodes of the show. On weekdays episodes were 10 minutes long, while those shown on weekends were 25 minutes long. Ljubo Ćesić Rojs
Ljubo Ćesić (born 20 February 1958), best known by his nickname Rojs, is a retired Croatian army general and politician. Military service A native Herzegovinian Croat, Ćesić moved to Zagreb in 1984, where he got a job as a bus driver. He came into public spotlight during the 1990s and Yugoslav Wars ( Croatian War of Independence and Bosnian War) as commander of the 66th Engineering Regiment of the Croatian Army. His unit built mountain roads on the border between the two countries, which ultimately allowed Croatian Army to outflank the Serb Krajina and Bosnian Serb forces during and after Operation Storm in August 1995. Ante Gotovina
Ante Gotovina (born 12 October 1955) is a Croatian retired lieutenant general and former French senior corporal who served in the Croatian War for Independence. He is noted for his primary role in the 1995 Operation Storm. In 2001, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) indicted him on war crimes and crimes against humanity charges in connection with that operation and its aftermath. After spending four years in hiding, he was captured in the Canary Islands in December 2005. Boris Dvornik (; 16 April 1939 – 24 March 2008) was a Croatian actor. Biography Born in Split to the family of a carpenter, Dvornik discovered acting talent at an early age, while performing in children's plays. Dražen Budiša (born 25 July 1948) is a Croatian politician who used to be a leading opposition figure in the 1990s and a two-time presidential candidate. Slaven Letica (28 June 1947 – 25 October 2020) was a Croatian author, economist, commentator and politician. Biography A native of Podgora, Letica graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics in 1971. Majke ("mothers") are a cult Croatia, Croatian rock band. Founded in 1984 in Vinkovci, Majke were one of the many bands to appear in a town that had a particularly vibrant rock and alternative scene. Mislav Bago (13 September 1973 – 18 August 2022) was a Croatian journalist and broadcaster. The winner of a number of awards and decorations, Bago was known as one of the best Croatian TV journalists, and he was known for his unwavering attitude and questions with which he would put his interlocutors, often high-ranking individuals from domestic politics, into very awkward situations. Zlatko "Cico" Kranjčar (; 15 November 1956 – 1 March 2021) was a Croatian professional football manager and player. Kranjčar started his career as a player with Dinamo Zagreb where he won the Yugoslav First League in 1981–82, then Yugoslav Cup twice in 1980 and 1983.
