Goran Bare
Majke ("mothers") are a cult Croatia, Croatian rock band. Founded in 1984 in Vinkovci, Majke were one of the many bands to appear in a town that had a particularly vibrant rock and alternative scene. The band started playing under the influence of bands like: MC5, Flamin' Groovies, Steppenwolf (band), Steppenwolf, The Stooges, New York Dolls, Motörhead and many others. History 1984-1989: Formation, early recordings and death of Marin Pokrovac Majke were formed in 1984 in Vinkovci, Croatia by vocalist Goran Bare, bassist Nedjeljko Ivković - Kilmister, drummer Željko Mikulić - Korozija, and guitarists Marin Pokrovac and Ivica Duspara. They released their first demo tape in 1988 on the label Slušaj Najglasnije. The following year, some of their early recordings appeared on the legendary Slušaj Najglasnije compilation album "Bombardiranje New Yorka", which mainly consisted of recordings of rock bands from Vinkovci. The band briefly broke up after Pokrovac moved to London. ...

Jelen Pivo Live
Jelen Pivo Live was a musical event held in Belgrade, Serbia from 2006 to 2012 in order to promote the Apatin Brewery brand Jelen pivo. The first Jelen Pivo Live was organized as a festival featuring only Serbian rock acts, but the following year beside Serbian bands, foreign acts were also included in the festival lineup. Foreign acts that performed on the festival include Ian Brown, Happy Mondays, Gary Moore, Dinosaur Jr., The Stooges, The Lemonheads, The Fall, Heavy Trash, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Rakes. Since 2010, the event was held as a concert of one foreign act ( Guns N' Roses in 2010, Slash in 2011 and Metallica in 2012). 2006 In 2006 the festival's inaugural edition was held in Belgrade's SKC (Students Cultural Centre) over two days - on December 15 and 16. The Stooges
The Stooges, originally billed as the Psychedelic Stooges, also known as Iggy and the Stooges, was an American rock band formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1967 by singer Iggy Pop, guitarist Ron Asheton, drummer Scott Asheton, and bassist Dave Alexander. Initially playing a raw, primitive style of rock and roll, the band sold few records in their original incarnation and gained a reputation for their confrontational performances, which often involved acts of self-mutilation by Iggy Pop. After releasing two albums – ''The Stooges'' (1969) and ''Fun House'' (1970) – the group disbanded briefly, and reformed with an altered lineup (with Ron Asheton replacing Dave Alexander on bass and James Williamson taking up guitar) to release a third album, ''Raw Power'' (1973), before breaking up again in 1974. ''Život uživo'' ( en, Life in person) is the debut studio album by Bosnian pop star Maya Berović. It was released August 2007 through the record label Grand Production in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Background Aged 19 in 2006, Maya signed with the Belgrade-based record label Grand Production, co-owned by Lepa Brena and Saša Popović, and teamed up with ''Grand's'' main songwriter Marina Tucaković and composer and musician Aleksandar Milić as the producer.
