Lake Cavazzo
Lago di Cavazzo or Lago dei Tre Comuni ( Friulian: ''Lâc di Cjavaç'') is the largest natural lake in the Province of Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. At an elevation of 191 m, its surface area is 1.74 km². Geography The lake is situated in the territory of the municipalities of Cavazzo Carnico, Bordano and Trasaghis in the north-east of Italy. Lake Cavazzo is of glacial origin and it is 2,250 m long, 400 to 800 m wide, has a maximum depth of about 40 m; its surface area is 1.2 km² and its perimeter is 7.6 km. Flora and fauna A vast reedbed occupies part of the south shore and is an ideal breeding habitat for various native fish species such as pike, eels, tench, perch and more. Carnic Prealps
The Carnic Prealps (''Prealpi Carniche'' in Italian) or Southern Carnic Alps (german: Südliche Karnische Alpen) are a mountain range in the Southern Limestone Alps, part of the larger Carnic and Gailtal Alps group. They are located in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in the northern part of Italy. Geography According to the Alpine Club classification of the Eastern Alps, the Carnic Prealps (AVE 57b) stretch from the Piave River in the south and west up to Sappada and Forni Avoltri, forming the border with the Dolomites range. The northern border with the main chain of the Carnic Alps runs along the Degano Valley to Comeglians in the Carnia region, and further eastwards via Paluzza, Ligosullo and Paularo to the Fella Valley at Pontebba. Kingfisher

Perch is a common name for fish of the genus ''Perca'', freshwater gamefish belonging to the family Percidae. A reedbed or reed bed is a natural habitat found in floodplains, waterlogged depressions and estuaries.
