Laguna Sur station is an underground metro station on the Santiago Metro Line 5, Line 5 of Santiago Metro network, in Santiago, Chile. It is located underneath the junction of :es: Avenida Teniente Cruz, Teniente Cruz Avenue with Laguna Sur Street, in the Communes of Chile, commune of Pudahuel between Las Parcelas metro station, Las Parcelas station (1,140 meters away) and Barrancas metro station, Barrancas station (1,140 meters away). The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel metro station, Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú metro station, Plaza de Maipú. Las Parcelas Metro Station
Las Parcelas is a metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú. It is one of the three stations built on a viaduct on the expansion. Along with the other two elevated stops, this station features a double decker skyway, which connects the platforms to a cylindrical building. The walkway on the lower deck leads to the westbound platform, while the higher walkway crosses over the tracks and connects with the eastbound platform via two stairways and a two-stop elevator. Ricardo Froilán Lagos Escobar (; born 2 March 1938) is a Chilean lawyer, economist and social-democratic politician who served as president of Chile from 2000 to 2006. During the 1980s he was a well-known opponent of the Chilean military dictatorship and astounded contemporaries in 1988 by openly denouncing dictator Augusto Pinochet on live television. Plaza De Maipú Metro Station
Plaza de Maipú is an underground metro station on Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is located under the Plaza de Armas of Maipú. It was formerly the deepest station in the Santiago Metro system at deep. However, this has since been surpassed by the Line 3 platforms at Puente Cal y Canto station. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as the southwestern terminus of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú. Pudahuel Metro Station
Pudahuel is a rapid transit station on the Line 5. It is located underneath the junction of San Pablo Avenue and Teniente Cruz Avenue, underneath the border of Pudahuel and Lo Prado. The station was opened on January 12, 2010 by president Michelle Bachelet, as part of the lLine's extension from Quinta Normal to Pudahuel, and was the Line's western terminus until 3 February 2011 when the line was extended southwest towards Plaza de Maipú. In the surrounding area can be found the Pudahuel municipality building, a supermarket, a share taxis stop and several bus stops. After Pudahuel, Line 5 makes an abrupt turn to the southwest towards Maipú, right under the commune hall. This bend can be seen from the platform (see the photo gallery). Barrancas is an underground metro station on Line 5 of the Santiago Metro network in Santiago, Chile. It is located underneath the junction of Teniente Cruz Avenue and General Bonilla Avenue on the border of the communes of Pudahuel and Lo Prado, between Laguna Sur station (1140 meters away) and Pudahuel station (990 meters away).
