Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel
The Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge (known previously as the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel and the Lady Monctonian Invitational as it was an only women's event) is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at Curl Moncton in Moncton, New Brunswick. It was part of the women's World Curling Tour from 2004 to 2019 and joined the men's tour in 2019. Moncton (; ) is the most populous city in the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of New Brunswick. Jaclyn Crandall
Jaclyn Lora Crandall (born April 4, 1989), previously known as Jaclyn Tingley, is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. She currently plays third on Team Melissa Adams. Career Crandall played in her first provincial championship during the 2009–10 season as third for Ashley Howard. The team made it to the final of the 2010 New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts, where they lost to Andrea Crawford 8–5. The team won the 2010 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel to start the 2010–11 season. They would however not qualify at provincials that year, finishing the round robin with a 2–5 record. Ashley Howard (born September 19, 1989) is a Canadian curler from Regina, Saskatchewan. She played third on Team Saskatchewan in the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and is the executive director of CurlSask, the governing body of curling in Saskatchewan. Sandy Comeau
Sandy Comeau (born October 5, 1964) is a Canadian curler from Moncton, New Brunswick. She is a three-time New Brunswick Scotties champion. Career Comeau made her first Scotties appearance in 1993 playing second for Nancy McConnery at the 1993 Scott Tournament of Hearts. The team included Leanne Perron and Denise Cormier as well. They finished with a 2–9 record, only beating Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec. Comeau would not return to the national championship until 2005 where she skipped her own team. New Brunswick would qualify for the tiebreaker and would upset Team Canada's Colleen Jones before losing to Ontario's Jenn Hanna in the second round. Melissa Adams (born December 16, 1977 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick as Melissa McClure) is a Canadian curler from Hanwell, New Brunswick. She currently skips her own team. She is a former Canadian and World Junior champion skip. Career Juniors Adams first national championship appearance was at the 1995 Canada Winter Games where she played for New Brunswick, winning a bronze medal. Colleen Pinkney (born Colleen Marshall) is a Canadian curler from Truro, Nova Scotia. She is a 2009 and 2013 Canadian Senior champion skip and a two-time provincial senior champion. She won the World Senior Curling Championships in 2010. Career In 1988, Pinkney played in her first Tournament of Hearts, playing second for Judy Burgess. The team finished 3–8. In 2003, she made her second Hearts, playing third for Nancy McConnery. That team finished with a 5–6 record. She was also the alternate for Nancy McConnery in the 2009 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
