Ladies Swiss Open
The Ladies Swiss Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour that is held in Switzerland. It was first played in 1996 and 1997, the first LET event in Switzerland since the Ladies Swiss Classic (1988–1990). It was played 2006–2012 with Deutsche Bank as the title sponsor. After a 8 year hiatus it returned to the LET schedule again in 2020, this time with Liechtenstein-based VP Bank as title sponsor. Canton Of Zug
The canton of Zug, also Zoug (Standard German: , Alemannic German: , rm, Chantun Zug, french: Canton de Zoug, it, Canton Zugo) is one of the 26 cantons of Switzerland. It is located in central Switzerland and its capital is Zug. At the canton is one of the smallest of the Swiss cantons in terms of area. Linn Grant
Linn Maria Grant (born 20 June 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour. As an amateur, she won the 2017 Ladies' British Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship and was in contention at the 2018 and 2020 U.S. Women's Open. Family and early years Grant is the grand-daughter of James Grant, a Scottish golf professional who emigrated from Inverness in Scotland to Helsingborg in Sweden. The Grant family has had a fair bit of success on Catriona Matthew's home track, North Berwick Golf Club. James won the Scottish Boys Championship on the course, and Linn won the British Amateur Stroke Play Championship there, 49 years later. James died when Linn was 6 years old. Kristie Lynn Smith (born 7 August 1988) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the Futures Tour and the Ladies European Tour. She was the 2008 Australian Amateur Champion and was the low amateur in the 2008 MFS Women's Australian Open at Kingston Heath Golf Club, finishing at 1 under par in equal 5th place. Sophie Giquel-Bettan (born 12 July 1982) is a retired French professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour and the U.S-based LPGA Tour. She won the 2007 Ladies Open of Portugal. Lee-Anne Pace (born 15 February 1981) is a South African professional golfer. Career Pace was born in Paarl, Western Cape. She had a successful amateur collegiate career in the United States, where she attended Murray State University and the University of Tulsa, graduating with a degree in psychology. Diana Luna
Diana Luna (born 3 September 1982) is a professional golfer from Italy. Luna was born in Rome, Italy and turned professional in 2001. She won her first event on the Ladies European Tour in 2004 at the Tenerife Ladies Open, beating Becky Brewerton down the stretch. After winless years in 2005-2008, Luna won two events back-to-back in the summer of 2009 for her second and third wins. Those two wins gave Luna a spot on the 2009 Solheim Cup European team. 2011 Ladies European Tour
The 2011 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place from February through December 2011. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tour featured 24 official money events, as well as the Tenerife Ladies Match Play, the European Nations Cup and the Solheim Cup. Ai Miyazato won the Order of Merit with earnings of €363,080, despite only playing in two events. Caroline Masson (born 14 May 1989) is a German professional golfer, currently playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET). Amateur and college career Born and raised in Gladbeck in North Rhine-Westphalia, Masson had a decorated amateur golf career. Anja Monke (born 28 May 1977) is a German professional golfer. She has played on the Ladies European Tour since 2004. Monke was born in Herford. In 2003, she won the International Amateur Championships of Switzerland and Italy, and was voted German Ladies Amateur Golfer of the Year. In Autumn, with a handicap of +3, she turned professional. Carly Booth
Carly Booth (born 21 June 1992) is a Scottish professional golfer. At the end of 2009, aged 17, she became the youngest-ever Scot to qualify for the Ladies European Tour. Booth became the youngest ladies' club champion in Britain at the age of 11 at Dunblane New. Early life Upon turning professional, Booth had a golf scholarship to complete at Glenalmond College in Scotland. She won the 2020 Australian Ladies Classic Bonville by eight strokes as an amateur and joined the Ladies European Tour on a two-year winner's exemption. Amy Boulden (born 6 August 1993) is a Welsh professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour.
