Ladian
Ladian is a small village in Kharian Tehsil, Gujrat District, Punjab (Pakistan), Punjab, Pakistan. It is known for its brave son Maj. Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider). It is located at 30°59'0N 72°51'0E and has an altitude of 156 metres (512 feet). Most of the population of the village belongs to the Rajput Gurjar, Gujjar and Jat castes. The other prevailing casts are Bhatti & Kashmiri. The Haqlay, Mehar, Ladi, mians, Padhanas, Kharis, Chandi are the sub casts of Gujjars. The name of the village is in reference to Ladi cast. It is believed that Ladis built this village and other casts later migrated in. Agricultural gains are the mainstay of economy. Different types of corps are cultivated throughout the entire year. Raja Aziz Bhatti
Major Raja Aziz Bhatti ( pa, ; ur, ; 6 August 1928– 12 September 1965) born as Aziz Ahmad but usually known as Raja Aziz Bhatti, was a Pakistan Army officer. He was awarded the ''Nishan-e-Haider'' for his actions of valour during the Battle of Burki in the Indo-Pak War of 1965. He is revered as a hero of the 1965 war in Pakistan, till this day. Prior to gaining officer's commission in the Pakistan Army, Major Bhatti served in the Pakistan Air Force as an enlisted man and left the air force as a Corporal in a favor of transferring to the Army. In his brief military career, he was a staff officer working on administrative positions and widely popular as the "Muhafiz-e-Lahore" (Protector of Lahore). Bhimber
Bhimber ( ur, ) is the capital of Bhimber District, in the Azad Kashmir. The town is on the border between Jammu region and Punjab in Pakistan proper about by road southeast of Mirpur. History Bhimber was the capital of the Chibhal dynasty, which lasted from 1400 to 1856. Bhimber lies on the route that was followed by the Mughal Emperors for their frequent visits to the Kashmir Valley. Gujrat ( Punjabi and ur, ) is a city in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is the capital of Gujrat District and it is the 21st largest city of Pakistan by population. Along with the nearby cities of Sialkot and Gujranwala, Gujrat forms part of the ''Golden Triangle'' of industrial cities with export-oriented economies. Gurjar or Gujjar (also transliterated as ''Gujar, Gurjara and Gujjer'') is an ethnic nomadic, agricultural and pastoral community, spread mainly in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan, divided internally into various clan groups. They were traditionally involved in agriculture and pastoral and nomadic activities and formed a large homogeneous group.
