Costa Del Sol
The Costa del Sol (literally "Coast of the Sun" or "Sun Coast") is a region in the south of Spain in the autonomous community of Andalusia, comprising the coastal towns and communities along the coastline of the Province of Málaga and the eastern part of Campo de Gibraltar in Cádiz. Ladies European Tour
The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. It is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through prize money, rather than on making profits for investors. The tour is run by a Board of Directors and a Players' Council. Most of the players on the tour are European, with members from more than 40 countries internationally. The tour operates tournaments across five continents. History The U.S.-based LPGA was founded in 1950, but women's professional golf was slower to get established in Europe. Céline Herbin (born 30 October 1982) is a French professional golfer. She has won twice on the Ladies European Tour. Early life and education Herbin started playing golf in 1997, at the age of 15, after she relocated to Mignaloux-Beauvoir with her family. She competed internationally while pursuing a degree in Biochemical Engineering at Institut national des sciences appliquées de Toulouse. During her junior year, she was an exchange student at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Esther Henseleit (born 14 January 1999) is a German professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. Amateur career Henseleit attended Freie Waldorfschule Oldenburg and played for Golfclub am Meer before switching to Hamburg Golf Club in 2013.
