Alejandro Agresti (born June 2, 1961, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine film director, writer and producer. A prominent filmmaker in his country, he also directed ''The Lake House (film), The Lake House'' with Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood actors Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in 2006. Career Agresti is best known in the United States for his feature ''Valentín'', the story of a young boy who dreams of becoming an astronaut while attempting to better the bewildering world around him. This internationally acclaimed feature earned Agresti the Silver Condor (Cóndor de Plata) by the Argentine Film Critics Association for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, Best Film and Special Jury Award at the Mar del Plata Film Festival, the Golden Calf for Best Director at the Nederlands Film Festival, and the Audience Award at the Newport International Film Festival. Saint Sebastian (in Latin: ''Sebastianus''; Narbo, Gallia Narbonensis, Roman Empire c. AD 255 – Rome, Italia, Roman Empire c. AD 288) was an early Christian saint and martyr. According to traditional belief, he was killed during the Diocletianic Persecution of Christians. He was initially tied to a post or tree and shot with arrows, though this did not kill him. He was, according to tradition, rescued and healed by Saint Irene of Rome, which became a popular subject in 17th-century painting. In all versions of the story, shortly after his recovery he went to Diocletian to warn him about his sins, and as a result was clubbed to death. He is venerated in the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. The oldest record of the details of Sebastian's martyrdom is found in the ''Chronograph of 354'', which mentions him as a martyr, venerated on January 20. Norman Briski (born January 2, 1938) is an Argentine theatre actor, director and playwright, as well as a cinema and television actor. Life and work Naum Normando Briski was born in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 1938. His Jewish Argentine family relocated to Córdoba, where Briski developed an interest in acting and where, in 1955, he was given his first stage role in ''La Farsa del señor Corregidor.'' He continued his work in the theatre and in time earned leading parts in plays such as ''Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead'' and '' The Mother''. He was given his first cinema role, a part in Ricardo Alventosa's comedy, ''Cómo seducir a una mujer'' (''How to Seduce a Woman''), in 1967.
