LaSexta
La Sexta (; "The Sixth"; stylized as laSexta) is a Spanish free-to-air television channel. It is privately owned and was originally founded on 18 March 2001 as Beca TV that began broadcasting on 1 April 2001, that same year. By 21 July 2003, the channel ran into liquidation and was closed down, but two years later in 2005, it was replaced by a new channel called La Sexta that began test transmissions on 25 November 2005, and a year later, it started broadcasting officially on 27 March 2006. The channel's programming is generalist, however, there is an emphasis on humour and entertainment. ''BuenAgente'' is a Spanish comedy television series that originally aired on LaSexta from 5 May 2011 to 2 December 2011. The cast is led by Antonio Molero, Malena Alterio, Arturo Valls, Carmen Ruiz, Patricia Montero and Raúl Fernández. Premise Lola tells her husband Sebas that she is leaving him. Sebas does not give up and moves to a new residence (together with Olivia and Ana) near Lola's to try to be closer to his two children, Nata and Alex. Mega is a Spanish television channel owned by Atresmedia. Its programming is aimed towards a male audience. The network is available on digital terrestrial television (TDT as it is known in Spain) as well as cable and satellite. History On May 6, 2014, Atresmedia was forced to close Nitro, Xplora and la Sexta 3 channels due to a supreme court ruling, so the programming aimed at the male audience had to be placed on other group channels such as Neox or LaSexta. After this event, Atresmedia sought to recover the license that was leased to Gol Televisión, setting the end of 2015 as a limit.
