Findley Lake, New York
Findley Lake is part of the town of Mina in southwestern Chautauqua County, New York, United States. Situated at an elevation of 1440 ft (439 m) above sea level, this hamlet is located on the north shore of Findley Lake. History Findley Lake was settled by War of 1812 veteran Alexander Findley, a native of Northern Ireland who had emigrated to America sometime around 1769, settled in eastern Pennsylvania, married and started a family, and returned to Ireland for a few years before making the decision to live permanently in the United States. After purchasing land in Greenfield, Pennsylvania in 1805, he then purchased lot 52, near what is now Findley Lake, from the Holland Land Company in 1811, and built a dam there in 1815 to power his mill, thus creating the lake from two ponds. Pan Cheng-tsung (, born 12 November 1991), known professionally as C. T. Pan, is a Taiwanese professional golfer who currently competes on the PGA Tour. In 2019, Pan became just the second Taiwanese golfer to win on the PGA Tour. He has represented Taiwan as an amateur on the 2006 Eisenhower Trophy team, and then again in the 2014 tournament. Dominic Bozzelli (born May 22, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Bozzelli was born in Rochester, New York. He played college golf at Auburn University after transferring from University of Central Florida. At Auburn, he won three events. He also won the Eastern Amateur and the New York State Amateur twice. Bozzelli turned professional in 2013 and played on the NGA Pro Golf Tour in 2014, winning four times (including three straight), and earning NGA Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors. Rick Lamb (born September 20, 1990) is an American professional golfer. Lamb was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He played college golf at the University of Tennessee after transferring from Santa Clara University. At Tennessee, he won three events. In his final collegiate event, Lamb finished T-2 at the 2013 NCAA Division I Championship. Lamb earned limited status on the 2016 Web.com Tour after a tie for 79th at qualifying school in December 2015, but had to rely on sponsor exemptions and Monday qualifying to get into tournaments. Beau Hossler (born March 16, 1995) is an American professional golfer from Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Hossler was only 17 years old when he qualified for his second consecutive U.S. Open, finishing tied for 29th in the 2012 U.S. Open. He had held the outright lead midway through the second round. Nelson Lautaro Ledesma (born 25 July 1990) is an Argentinian professional golfer who currently plays on PGA Tour. He has won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour.
