Louisiana Highway 3132 (LA 3132) is a state highway located in Shreveport, Louisiana. It runs in a general east–west direction from the junction of Interstate 20 in Louisiana, Interstates 20 and Interstate 220 in Louisiana, 220 to Louisiana Highway 523, LA 523, serving as a southwestern bypass of the downtown area. With I-220, the highway helps to carry through traffic between the two disconnected portions of Interstate 49 in Louisiana, Interstate 49 (I-49), the area's main north–south route. Though the controlled-access highway was officially designated as the Terry Bradshaw Passway in 2003, it is commonly known as the Inner Loop Expressway and is still signed as such from intersecting routes. Interstate 69 (I-69) is a proposed Interstate Highway that will pass through the northwestern part of the US state of Louisiana. Route description In Louisiana, I-69 would head from the Texas state line near Logansport in a northeasterly direction to intersect I-49 near Stonewall in DeSoto Parish, north of Mansfield. It will then head north to the east of Shreveport to skirt along the southern and eastern edges of Barksdale Air Force Base. It will then intersect I-20 near Haughton in Bossier Parish and then turn northeast and pass Minden, Haynesville, and Shongaloo. A Jersey barrier, Jersey wall, or Jersey bump is a modular concrete or plastic barrier employed to separate lanes of traffic. It is designed to minimize vehicle damage in cases of incidental contact while still preventing vehicle crossovers resulting in a likely head-on collision. Jersey barriers are also used to reroute traffic and protect pedestrians and workers during highway construction.
