__NOTOC__ L'Auberge is a defunct restaurant located in Weert in the Netherlands. It was a Types of restaurant#Fine dining, fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1986-1991 and two Michelin stars in the period 1992–2000. The restaurant closed down due to bankruptcy. According to the De Volkskrant, Volkskrant, the restaurant building itself and its appearance, rather than its kitchen, would preclude the restaurant from obtaining a third Michelin star. After moving to a new location in 1996, and the divorce of maître d'hôtel Willy Mertens and Chef#Chef de cuisine, head chef Emmanuel Mertens, resulting in the departure of Willy Mertens, restaurant guide Lekker gave the restaurant a strong negative review in 1998. The restaurant was sold in 1999. Mertens was later awarded a Michelin star again with Restaurant Mertens in Hamburg, Germany. Emmanuel Mertens

De Librije
De Librije () is a restaurant in Zwolle, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that has been awarded one or more Michelin stars since 1993. It carried one star in the period 1993–1998, two stars in the period 1999-2003 and three stars since 2004. In 2007 and 2008, the restaurant received a score of 19.5 and became Restaurant of the Year in the Dutch edition of Gault Millau. The restaurant was formerly located in the old library of a 15th-century Dominican abbey, hence the name "De Librije". In 2015, the establishment moved to replace its secondary location on the other side of the Thorbeckegracht which housed the "Librije's Zusje" (Librijes little sister) as part of the "Librije's Hotel". The chef de cuisine is Jonnie Boer and his wife Thérèse Boer-Tausch is maître and sommelier. The couple, who both already worked in the restaurant, bought the establishment in 1992. Jonnie Boer
Jonnie Boer (born January 9, 1965 in Giethoorn) is a Dutch Michelin star winning head chef and co-owner of the restaurant De Librije in Zwolle, Netherlands. Together with his wife and business partner Thérèse Boer he runs the 3-starred ''De Librije'' (in 16th century monastery library building) and ''Librije's Winkel'' (cooking shop) They also own ''Librije's Hotel'' and ''Librije's Atelier'' (cook- and wine school), all located in a former women prison. In 1989 Boer became head chef at De Librije. In 1992 he and his wife bought the restaurant. Michelin Guide, Michelin awarded the first star in 1993.
