Kyra Cooney-Cross
Kyra Lillee Cooney-Cross (born 15 February 2002) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Hammarby IF in the Damallsvenskan and represents Australia internationally. She has previously played for Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne Victory in the W-League. Early life Cooney-Cross was born to Jai Cross and Jessica Cooney in Herston, Queensland. Jai played football at semi-pro level in Queensland with Sunshine Coast and he wanted his daughter to grow up with a ball at her feet. Usually playing with older girls and boys, at the age of 13, she started at FFV NTC and a year later trialled for the Mini Matildas. Hammarby IF Fotbollförening, more commonly known as Hammarby Fotboll or Hammarby ( or, especially locally, ), is a Swedish football club from Stockholm founded in 1915. Courtney Jade Nevin (born 12 February 2002) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a full-back for English Women's Super League club Leicester City, and the Australia women's national team. Sydney Football Club Women is an Australian women's football club based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It competes in the A-League Women, the top tier of women's football in Australia. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The rules of overtime or extra time vary between sports and even different competitions. Some may employ " sudden death", where the first player or team who scores immediately wins the game. The term "last-minute goal" is used in sport, primarily association football, to describe a goal scored very late in a game, usually one that affects the outcome of the game. Corner Kick
A corner kick is the method of restarting play in a game of association football when the ball goes out of play over the goal line, without a goal being scored and having last been touched by a member of the defending team. The kick is taken from the corner of the field of play nearest to the place where the ball crossed the goal line. 2019–20 W-League
The 2019–20 W-League season was the twelfth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. Nine teams competed in the league, with most of the players from Australia but 33 of them from 11 other countries. Melbourne City was undefeated through the regular season, the third time this has occurred in the W-League and the second time it has been achieved by Melbourne City. The 2019–20 Australian bushfire season has had a significant impact on the season. Britt Ellen Eckerstrom (born May 28, 1993) is a retired American soccer player who played as a goalkeeper for Portland Thorns FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
