Courtney Nevin
Courtney Jade Nevin (born 12 February 2002) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a full-back for English Women's Super League club Leicester City, and the Australia women's national team. She has previously played for Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne Victory in the W-League, as well as Damallsvenskan side Hammarby IF. Club career Junior years Nevin started playing soccer at her local club, Oakville Ravens, in Blacktown. She started playing at high level from the age of 11, and was at the beginning supported by her school, Oakville Public School. Later she played for Parklea and for Blacktown Spartans. In 2018, Nevin played for Football NSW Institute, where she scored 11 goals in 25 games and won the 2018 NPLW NSW Player of the Year award. The Blacktown Spartans Football Club are an Australian semi-professional association football club currently playing in the NSW Premier League, the top tier of association football in New South Wales and the 2nd tier including the fully professional top tier, the A-League. They are based in Blacktown, located in the Greater Western Sydney area of Sydney, New South Wales. History The Blacktown Spartans were formed in 2002 in the effort to field elite youth squads. Catherine Cannuli
Catherine Cannuli (born 3 March 1986) is an Australian soccer coach and former player who is coach of the Western Sydney Wanderers in the W-League. She played national league football in the Women's National Soccer League for the NSW Sapphires and the W-League for Sydney FC, Brisbane Roar and Western Sydney Wanderers. She also played for Inter Lions in the NSW Women's Premier League. She also played four times for Australia. 2019–20 W-League
The 2019–20 W-League season was the twelfth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. Nine teams competed in the league, with most of the players from Australia but 33 of them from 11 other countries. Melbourne City was undefeated through the regular season, the third time this has occurred in the W-League and the second time it has been achieved by Melbourne City. The 2019–20 Australian bushfire season has had a significant impact on the season. Jada Mathyssen-Whyman is an Australian soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Sydney FC Women team in the W-League. Early life Whyman is of Indigenous Australian heritage, with ancestry from the Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta peoples. Whyman grew up in Wagga Wagga before moving to Canberra and later Sydney, where she attended Westfields Sports High School. 2020 Football NSW Season
The Football NSW 2020 season was the eighth season of football in New South Wales under the banner of the National Premier Leagues.
