Kwaye
Kwayedza Kureya, mononymously known by his stage name Kwaye, is a British-Zimbabwean singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. He has released two EPs and his songs have been featured in Netflix's ''Topboy'' and ''On My Block''. He played Jacob in the Julian Fellowes 2009 movie, '' From Time to Time''. Early life and singing career Kwaye was born to a social worker mother and a doctor father. He lived in Zimbabwe until he was three. His family then moved to London, later settling in Kent. Kureya began performing at an early age and grew up playing the viola, sax, and guitar. He later moved to Brighton to pursue a degree in American Studies. While on a study abroad program in Los Angeles, Kureya played a demo of one of his recently recorded songs for an Uber driver who was a former A&R executive. Tinashe Fazakerley (born 4 April 1984), now professionally known as Rationale, is a Zimbabwe-born British singer and songwriter, formerly known as Tinashé. He is known for his soulful R&B and indie pop style with electric influences. His alias Tinashé was known for his synthpop sound and his African influences. Early life Fazakerley was born in the Harare township of Highfield. At the age of 9, he and his three siblings moved to the United Kingdom in the Camberwell district of London, where his single mother was working as a nurse. Moutaiz Al-Obaidi, known professionally as Motez, is an Australian record producer, musician and DJ. Motez was a refugee born in Iraq and moved to Adelaide in 2006.
