Kulachi
Kulachi (کلاچی) is a city named after the Kulachi Baloch tribe and is the headquarter of Kulachi Tehsil (an administrative subdivision) of Dera Ismail Khan District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at at an altitude of 209 metres (688 feet). Economy Kulachi is an agricultural city. The area lies at the foot of the Sulaiman Range and hence is irrigated by flood water from Sulaiman Mountains. The system of irrigation is called Rod Kohi, a system of mountain channels or hill-torrents inundating the whole valley of Damaan ("Rod" means "channel" and "Koh" means "mountain" in Persian). The Rod Kohi system based on "Kulyat Riwajat" (Fromulae and Traditions) governed the irrigation system ever since the Pathan tribes had moved into Damaan. The British officers reduced all these to writing during their Land Settlemts in the later part of nineteenth century. Kulachi (tribe)
Kolachi or Kulachi is a Baloch tribe in Karachi & in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. The tribe originated from Kulanch, an area in the Makran region of Balochistan province. The tribe has since moved over to several cities in Sindh and its people can be found in regions such as District Ghotki, Sukkur, Moro, and Dadu. One of the prominent villages in Sindh goes by the name of Kolachi village located on the Indus Highway. There is also a city in District Dera Ismail Khan in the name of Kulachi which was previously occupied by Kulachi Baloch tribe. Saraiki Language
Saraiki ( '; also spelt Siraiki, or Seraiki) is an Indo-Aryan language of the Lahnda group, spoken by 26 million people primarily in the south-western half of the province of Punjab in Pakistan. It was previously known as Multani, after its main dialect. Saraiki has partial mutual intelligibility with Standard Punjabi, and it shares with it a large portion of its vocabulary and morphology. Rod Koh
Rod Koh or Rod Kohi ( fa, راد کوہ) is a form of irrigation system in Pakistan. ''Rod'' means ''channel'' and ''Koh'' means ''mountain'' in Persian. The Rod Kohi system based on Kulyat Riwajat (Fromulae and Traditions) which governed the irrigation system ever since the Pashtun tribes moved into Damaan.
