Kujtim Shala
Kujtim Shala ( hr, Kujtim Šalja; born 13 July 1964) is a Croatian-Albanian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. International career Shala played his one and only match for the Croatia national football team in a 2–1 win against the US on 17 October 1990, during a friendly match before the Croatian Football Federation was affiliated by FIFA in 1992. Coaching career Shala was the head coach of FC Prishtina in Kosovar Superliga. But after FC Prishtina failed to win the Kosovar Superliga, he was sacked. In February 2008 he was selected as head coach of the Kosovo national football team. Personal life Shala was born in Prizren, SFR Yugoslavia (now Kosovo) and is of Albanian descent. SVN Zweibrücken is a German association football club from the Niederauerbach quarter of Zweibrücken, Rhineland-Palatinate. History The association was founded in 1929 as ''SV Niederauerbach'' and remained an anonymous local side until winning its way to the Verbandsliga Südwest (V). A decade later the team captured the division title and was promoted to the Oberliga Südwest (V). ''SV'' also advanced to the finals of the Südwest Pokal (South West Cup) in that successful 2007–08 season, which earned the club a place in the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) tournament in 2008–09. Andis Shala (; born 15 November 1988) is a Kosovar footballer who most recently played as a forward for Chemnitzer FC. Club career Having begun career in the youth team at Hannover 96, Shala joined VfR Mannheim in January 2008 on a short-term deal. Shala joined Dundee United in pre-season for the 2008–09 season, with manager Craig Levein calling him a "decent prospect" and stated that he had "high hopes for him". Shala arrived in mid June 2008 with fellow new signing Michael McGovern. He made his debut as a substitute in an August 2008 Scottish League Cup match. He made his league debut in February 2009, and with his first touch of the ball, set up Lee Wilkie to score the equalising goal in a 1–1 draw against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. The team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation and is a member of FIFA and CONCACAF.
