Alma Kuc
Alma Alexandra Kuc (born September 21, 1998) is a Polish artistic gymnast. She began competing for the California Golden Bears gymnastics team in 2018. Personal life Alma Kuc was born on September 21, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario. She has also lived in Argentina and Brazil, and her extended family lives in Poland. Her younger brother, Thomas Kuc, is an actor. She graduated from Laurel Springs High School in Ojai, California. She began attending UC Berkeley in 2017 where she studies Molecular and Cell Biology, and she competes on their gymnastics team. Career Kuc competed at the 2014 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2014 European Championships with Marta Pihan-Kulesza, Katarzyna Jurkowska-Kowalska, Gabriela Janik, Claudia Chmielowska, and the team finished 10th. John Kuc
John Kuc is a former world champion powerlifter from the United States. During the 1970s and 80s, he set numerous powerlifting national and world records, won three International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) world championships and numerous national championships. Although Jon Cole squatted 905 pounds and totaled 2370 pounds (later weighed out at 2364) a bit earlier in a AAU local meet in Phoenix, Arizona on October 28, 1972, Kuc became known as the first man to squat over 900 and total 2300 pounds in a major international competition with a more strict judging at the AAU World Powerlifting Championships on November 11, 1972 by squatting 905 pounds and totaling an impressive 2350 pounds (905-600-845) (raw with just ace bandages), which is still one of the highest raw totals ever achieved until today. Marina Kuč
Marina Kuč ( sr, Марина Куч; born June 20, 1985, in Essen, Germany) is a former German and Montenegrin swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. She is a two-time Olympian (2004 and 2008) and competed in several World- and European Championships. She was member of SG Essen until 2005. From 2005 she competed as a member of Düsseldorf SC 1898 club in Düsseldorf, Germany, under head coach Torsten Petsch. She was the first woman to represent Montenegro at the Olympics. Kuc was several times German Junior Champ and German Championship medalist and competed for the german national team until she changed to compete for her parents native country Serbia and Montenegro at the European Championship in Madrid and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. In the 100 m breaststroke, she placed twenty-second on the morning prelims.
