Alma Kuc
Alma Alexandra Kuc (born September 21, 1998) is a Polish artistic gymnast. She began competing for the California Golden Bears gymnastics team in 2018. Personal life Alma Kuc was born on September 21, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario. She has also lived in Argentina and Brazil, and her extended family lives in Poland. Her younger brother, Thomas Kuc, is an actor. She graduated from Laurel Springs High School in Ojai, California. She began attending UC Berkeley in 2017 where she studies Molecular and Cell Biology, and she competes on their gymnastics team. Career Kuc competed at the 2014 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2014 European Championships with Marta Pihan-Kulesza, Katarzyna Jurkowska-Kowalska, Gabriela Janik, Claudia Chmielowska, and the team finished 10th. Katarzyna Jurkowska-Kowalska
Katarzyna Iwona Jurkowska-Kowalska (born 18 February 1992) is a Polish artistic gymnast and a two-time Polish all-around champion. She represented Poland at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Career She represented Poland at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2015. In 2016, she competed at the Olympic Test Event, where she received a qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics. 2016 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 31st European Championships in Women's Artistic Gymnastics Seniors and Juniors was held from 1 to 5 June 2016, at the PostFinance-Arena in Bern, Switzerland. It was the first time the city had hosted a major female international competition (it hosted the 1975 Men's European Gymnastics Championships), and was the first time Switzerland hosted the competition in the country. Hitomi Hatakeda
is a Japanese former artistic gymnast who competed at the 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2019 Summer Universiade champion in the team, all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam. She is also the 2020 American Cup all-around bronze medalist. Early life Hatakeda Hitomi was born on 1 September 2000 in Machida, Tokyo. Her father, Yoshiaki Hatakeda, won a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics in the team event. Her mother Yukiko is also a former gymnast and Hatakeda's personal coach. She began gymnastics at age eight because her parents encouraged her to try the sport. Her younger sister, Chiaki, is also an elite gymnast. Klara Stefania Kopeć (born 12 August 1999) is a Polish artistic gymnast. Career Kopeć competed at the 2014 Junior European Championships with Maria Bieda and Wiktoria Łopuszańska where they finished 21st. Kopeć made her senior debut at the 2015 Polish International where she won the silver on the balance beam behind Katarzyna Jurkowska-Kowalska. 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the forty-sixth edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from 23 October – 1 November 2015 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and is the first time that Scotland hosted the event. The competition served as a qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Japan won the men's team all-around competition for the first time since 1978, and the United States won the women's team all-around title for the third straight time. In the individual all-around competitions, Kōhei Uchimura and Simone Biles won their sixth and third successive title, respectively. Paula Plichta (born 20 September 1991) is a Polish artistic gymnast. Personal life Paula Plichta was born on 20 September 1991, in Olsztyn. In addition to gymnastics, she also competes in CrossFit. Career Plichta competed at her first World Championships in 2006 alongside Marta Pihan, Joanna Skowrońska, Joanna Litewka, Paula Koza, and Anna Turczyńska, and they finished 21st in the team all-round.
