Kristy McNichol
Christina Ann McNichol (born September 11, 1962) is an American former actress. She is known for such film roles as Angel in '' Little Darlings'', Polly in '' Only When I Laugh'', and Barbara Weston in the TV sitcom '' Empty Nest''. She won two Emmy Awards for her portrayal of teenage daughter Letitia "Buddy" Lawrence in the TV drama ''Family''. McNichol retired from acting in 2001. The series was distributed by 20th Century Fox Television and premiered on October 21, 1974, in syndication. Studio 54 is a Broadway theater and a former disco nightclub at 254 West 54th Street in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Operated by the Roundabout Theatre Company, Studio 54 has 1,006 seats on two levels. The theater was designed by Eugene De Rosa for producer Fortune Gallo and opened in 1927 as the Gallo Opera House. The current Broadway theater is named after a nightclub on the same site, founded by Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, which operated within the theater's space in the late 1970s and the 1980s. Mitchell Stuart Margo (May 25, 1947 – November 24, 2017) was an American singer and songwriter. Career Margo was a professional recording artist by the age of 14. Along with brother Phil Margo, he was a member of The Tokens. The vocal group is best known for its hit recording of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", which rose to #1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and remained there for three weeks in 1961.
