Kranti Trivedi
Kranti Trivedi (28 September 1930 – 26 October 2009) was one of the most prolific Hindi language writers of the 20th century. Biography Smt. Kranti Trivedi was born on 28 September 1930 in Raipur (Chhattisgarh), in the family of Ravishankar Shukla, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla, the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. She exhibited her writing skills in different forms of literature through simple language and interesting subject matter in order to arouse spontaneous interest as well as to inspire the readers to read more of Hindi literature. Simplicity of language, easy flow and contextual relevance of the subject matter in her writings were evident in stories published in popular Hindi magazines such as Saptahik Hindustan, Dharmyug, Kadambani, Navneet, Sarika, etc. Her most successful and popular story titled 'Phoolon Ko Kya Ho Gaya' has established its separate identity as being one of the first ones to be included in the manifestation programme of the internet. Raipur
Raipur ( ) is the capital city of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Raipur is also the administrative headquarters of Raipur district and Raipur division, and the largest city of the state. It was a part of Madhya Pradesh before the state of Chhattisgarh was formed on 1 November 2000. It is a major commercial hub for trade and commerce in the region. Ravishankar Shukla (2 August 1877 — 31 December 1956) was a leader of the Indian National Congress, Indian independence movement activist, the Premier of the Central Provinces and Berar from 27 April 1946 to 25 January 1950, first Chief Minister of the reorganised Madhya Pradesh state from 1 November 1956 until his death on 31 December 1956, he was elected from Saraipali, Madhya Pradesh now part of the state of Chhattisgarh. He also served as Member of Constituent Assembly of India from Central Provinces and Berar. ''Dharmyug'' was a Hindi pictorial weekly published by The Times Group, The Times of India Group from year 1949 till 1993. History The magazine was originally published by a Dalmia Group, Dalmia press in Bombay from 1949, just after independence of India, however it incorporated an earlier pictorial magazine ''Nav Yug'' that began in 1932.
