Kourtney Keegan
Kourtney Jean Keegan (born 7 September 1994) is an Americans, American former tennis player. Kourtney was born in Chicago, Illinois. She spent some of her youth in Jacksonville, FL before moving back to Chicago, before finally settling down in Roswell, GA throughout high school before going to the University of Florida to play tennis where she won a NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship, National Championship. Keegan made her Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam main draw debut at the 2016 US Open (tennis), 2016 US Open in the doubles event, partnering Brooke Austin. She graduated from the University of Florida with a major in Sports Management in 2017, and currently resides in Jacksonville, serving as the tournament services coordinator for The Players Championship. The 2016 US Open was the 136th edition of tennis' US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It took place on outdoor hard courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. In the men's singles competition, Stan Wawrinka defeated defending champion Novak Djokovic in the final. Angelique Kerber defeated Karolína Plíšková in the women's singles to become the first German player to win the tournament since Steffi Graf in 1996. 2015 women's singles champion Flavia Pennetta did not defend her title as she had retired at the end of the 2015 season. The NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship is the National Collegiate Athletic Association's tennis tournament to determine the Team Championships, Singles Championships, and Doubles Championships for women's tennis athletes from Division I institutions. Tennis was one of twelve women's sports added to the NCAA championship program for the 1981–82 school year, as the NCAA engaged in battle with the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women for sole governance of women's collegiate sports. The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as The PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour.
