Korso (restaurant)
Korso is a district and major region in Helsinki metropolitan area, in northeastern Vantaa, Finland. The district has 7,402 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2014). Since 2007, the Korso major region has included the following nine districts: Matari, Korso, Mikkola, Metsola, Leppäkorpi, Jokivarsi, Nikinmäki, Vierumäki and Vallinoja. The Korso major region has a total 29,765 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2014). Geography Korso is located in the Helsinki metropolitan area, to the west of the main north–south track line of the Finnish railways, some 20 km north from Helsinki city centre. The nearest towns are Kerava, six kilometres to the north, Sipoo in the east, Tuusula in north west and Espoo in the west. Tuusula
Tuusula (; sv, Tusby ) is a municipality of Finland. It belongs to the Helsinki sub-region of the Uusimaa region. The municipality has a population of () and is by far the third largest municipality in Finland after Nurmijärvi and Kirkkonummi that doesn't use the town or city title by itself. Geography Tuusula, lying on the shores of Tuusulanjärvi lake, is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Uusimaa region. It covers an area of of which is water. Seinäjoki
Seinäjoki (; "Wall River"; la, Wegelia, formerly sv, Östermyra) is a city located in South Ostrobothnia, Finland; east of Vaasa, north of Tampere, west of Jyväskylä and southwest of Oulu. Seinäjoki originated around the Östermyra bruk iron and gunpowder factories founded in 1798. Seinäjoki became a municipality in 1868, market town in 1931 and town in 1960. In 2005, the municipality of Peräseinäjoki was merged into Seinäjoki, and in the beginning of 2009, the neighbouring municipalities of Nurmo and Ylistaro were consolidated with Seinäjoki. Thure Hellström
Thure Adolf Hellström (30 May 1880 in Koivisto – 23 December 1946 in Helsinki) was a Finnish architect working on railroad stations for Rautatiehallitus (The Railroad Board) with Bruno Granholm. Hellström designed wooden railway station buildings at Kemi - Rovaniemi, Joensuu-Nurmes, Seinäjoki-Kaskinen, Perälä-Kristinestad, Pieksämäki-Savonlinna and Sciences-Pieksämäki. His early style is Art Nouveau. Hellström also designed Neoclassical Station buildings. Later, he designed more substantial buildings in stone such as Hämeenlinna, Ore, Kuopio, Pori, Riihimäki railway stations, and in 1935 in brick, Gulf station. Tikkurila
Tikkurila (; sv, Dickursby) is a district and major region of the municipality of Vantaa, Finland. Located in the eastern half of the Helsinki conurbation, some north of the capital's downtown district, it is the administrative and commercial hub of Vantaa, although Myyrmäki is a rival commercial hub within the municipality. Tikkurila's most popular attraction is the science center Heureka. Tikkurila railway station is the busiest in Vantaa and third-busiest in Finland. As the nearest mainline station to Helsinki Airport (located from Tikkurila), it is served by all the high-speed Pendolino trains on the Helsinki to Tampere and Lahti routes as well as other long-distance services.
